A  Forest Gardening
Workshop

at Emerson Brook Forest
Gilsum, NH

Friday, October 10, 7 PM
through Monday, October 13

Remaking Eden:

A Forest Garden

Establishment Practicum

Learn how to establish a forest garden by establishing a forest garden!  We will spend three days learning how to prepare garden sites, improve soils, properly plant trees and shrubs, sheet mulch, and plant perennials.  Both classroom and hands-on learning, including two evening talks and discussion periods, will help you integrate what you learn and experience and to extend it to other situations.
• Cost: $200-300 plus food, camping.  No maximum.  We request that you bring tools to work with.  Vegetarian food is available at an extra charge if ordered ahead of time; Saturday lunches are potlucks.  Camping: lean-to onsite or your own tent, suggested donation $10 per night.
